History
A few years ago, I was trapped in the shadows of depression. My life had become an empty routine, without direction or purpose. It was at that critical moment that I made the most important decision of my life: to leave everything behind and head to southern Chile.
I arrived in Puerto Río Tranquilo seeking healing and a new way of living. Initially, I thought about creating cycling routes, but the Patagonian land had other plans for me. Little by little, this region began to heal wounds I didn’t even know I had.
It was during this period of searching that I discovered something completely unexpected: my profound connection with horses. This encounter changed my life forever, and it was the moment that Journey of Life was born, almost without me realizing it.
Today, I’ve not only overcome the depression that brought me south, but I’ve created something much bigger. Journey of Life offers three unique experiences: horseback riding, kayaking, and hiking through native forests, but it’s so much more than that.
Every person who rides a horse or kayaks through the Marble Caves doesn’t just explore trails; they connect with Patagonian history and culture. I keep the gaucho culture and the values of respect for nature alive.
This land saved me, taught me, and gave me a new way of seeing life. Now, every day I have the opportunity to share that same transformation with others, offering unique experiences in the pristine landscapes of Chilean Patagonia.

It was a fantastic day with the kids. In the morning, we went kayaking to see the Marble Caves with Andrés, who helped us connect with the place and enjoy the surroundings. In the afternoon, we went horseback riding with Agustín, who was friendly and always made sure we felt comfortable and safe.
The ride took us through a beautiful forest full of myrtle trees and across a field with stunning views. Perfect for continuing to connect with nature. It’s clear the kids love what they’re doing, and that came through throughout the entire activity, making both rides a truly awesome experience. Highly recommended.
